India's only openly gay prince publishing two gay magazines

BHARUCH, India – The only openly gay prince in India, Rajpipla Manavendra Singh Gohil, is now the publisher of two gay-oriented magazines.

The prince introduced Fun, India’s first gay magazine aimed at gay men and straight women. He said the magazine will focus on gay fashion, high-tech gadgets, health and sexuality, and other issues relating to men who like men.

"Following the legalization of consensual sex between two adult men, I noticed that many departmental stores opened separate stores for gays," he told the Times of India. "In this atmosphere, I felt the need to have a magazine for gays."

Fun launched on July 26 at Goa with actress Celina Jaitley. The inaugural cover sported a shirtless photograph of upcoming model Rehan Khan.

"As I am getting older, I want to give more time to writing on gay rights and lifestyle. Fun will give me the ideal opportunity."

Live Sample of Sideffects of section 377
This GAY Sodomised a DU student

Accused lured victim with a job in a massage parlour; also forced him to have oral sex

JOHN (name changed) is among thousands of students in Delhi who work part-time to fund their education and stay in the city. But what happened with this 21-year-old first-year student of  Delhi University's Maharaja Agrasen College would send shock waves down the spine of his ilk.

ANIMAL INSTINCT:
Sameer along with his friend Manoj trapped a first
year student of Maharaja Agrasen College with the lure of easy money
by pursuing a job as a masseur. Pic/mid day

John, a native of Manipur, got admitted to BA (Regular) course in the college and was putting up at a P G in south Delhi's Kotla Mubarakpur. He was looking for a job and came in contact with a person called Manoj near Gurdwara Kotla Mubarakpur. Manoj told him that he could get him a job as a masseur in a parlour in south Delhi. He also introduced him to his friend Sameer.

"Manoj told John the job would suit him as he could earn good money by working part-time as a masseur. He was told that he would be paid per massage session and the more he would work the more he could earn," a police officer told MiD DAY.

On Monday, Manoj called up John and told him that he has a client and the student could earn at least Rs 500 for the massage session.

"Both the accused called the victim at their house on the pretext of introducing him to a client. They told John that after the massage the client would pay him Rs 500. But when John reached there he could not find any client. Only Manoj and Sameer were present there.

They asked John to remove his clothes and when he (John) refused, they brutally beat him up and tore off his clothes. They then took turns to sodomise him and also forced him to have oral sex with them," the police officer explained.

A shocked and battered John approached the police and an FIR was registered under sections 377/342 of the IPC at Kotla Mubarakpur police station.

"Sameer was caught from the house where they sodomised the victim on Tuesday. Manoj is on the run. We are conducting raids to nab him too," said a senior police officer.

The officer said John was taken to AIIMS for a medical examination. Sodomy was confirmed in the test. Police said Sameer owns a massage parlour in the Kotla Mubarakpur area.

PAST HORRORS
* An 11-year-old class VII student who came to the national capital for studying was sodomised and robbed of his pocket money allegedly by his two classmates in July this year. The shocking incident occurred at a government school in Ambedkar Nagar area in southeast Delhi. Kunal (name changed), a student of standard VII at Government Senior Secondary School (no.2), was taken to the second floor of the school building by his two classmates after school got over. There they allegedly beat him and robbed him of Rs 20. They later sodomised him and threatened him of dire consequences if he were to reveal anything. Kunal, however, went to the school principal to complain about the assault.

* Clerics at a North Delhi madrasa allegedly sodomised four students for two months before the victims managed to escape. The boys escaped from the Madrasa Tehfizul Kuraan on Roshanara Road on March 26, 2010 and boarded a local train to Ghaziabad. The four children were noticed by a local journalist, who offered them food and brought them to his house.

* A 17-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by a Delhi police official in December 2008. An FIR has been registered under section 377 of the IPC against the policeman. The incident reportedly took place near Kashmiri Gate in old Delhi. The boy was taken to a local hospital where doctors confirmed sodomy.

* Five boys aged between six and eight were sodomised by a 50-year-old man at a childcare centre in west Delhi for many weeks before the attacks came to light after one of the victims told his family about the incidents in May 2007.

* A Sikkim police constable guarding the Dena Bank treasury at Daryaganj in central Delhi went berserk in March 2007, killing five of his mates after they allegedly tried to sodomise him while on night duty.

* The police received a call at 4.52 am from constable Nari Lepcha, one of the guards deployed at the treasury, that his five colleagues had been murdered. After racking their brains for almost 12 hours, the police realised that it was Lepcha himself who had brutally murdered all of them.

* After hours of questioning, Lepcha admitted that he killed his fellow guards because they tried to sexually assault him after consuming alcohol. The five victims were identified as Lance Naik Kumar Basnett, Lance Naik Bishal Tiwari and constables Laxman Subba, Karma Bhutia and Santabir Tamang.

* Lepcha told the police that all five victims had drunk through the night. Tiwari, he said, tried to get physical with him which he resisted. The others apparently helped Tiwari. According to Lepcha, he grabbed his SLR rifle and started firing at them indiscriminately. He apparently fired 10 shots. Each of the victims received at least one bullet injury.

Gay Azadi march in Mumbai Postponed ???

Mumbai:  There's bad news for the queer community. The annual Queer Azadi gay pride parade that is organised post Independence Day every year, won't happen this year, because organisers fear the march will disrupt traffic.

Said Vikram Doctor, founder, Gay Bombay, "For the past two years, August 16 fell on a weekend. However, this year it's on a weekday (Monday) when traffic is heavy. And the weather isn't right."

Gathering a crowd on a Monday would also be difficult, according to Doctor. "Most people are working."

However, the queer community feels that changing the date would give their cause the appearance of being diluted. "We didn't organise the march just to gather a big crowd. Our main purpose was to highlight the injustice that the community is being subjected to. By postponing the date, we will appear weak," said a gay activist.

A lesbian activist said, "This is absolutely wrong. The weather was erratic last year too, but people did come. I feel let down by the LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) community's leaders."

Karnataka Goverment CM B.S Yeddyurappa Encourages CRIMAL ACTIVETES of Hejads Giveing Rs 400 Pension to Hejads in Karnataka ?

BANGALORE: In a benevolent gesture to transgenders, CM B S Yeddyurappa on Wednesday announced a monthly social security benefit of Rs 400 to transgenders above 40 years.

The CM's initiative followed his meeting with a delegation of transgenders who called on him here to submit a memorandum. They wanted houses, monthly pension and reservation of seats in degree courses. The pension is similar to the one being given to devdasis.

The CM also announced that transgenders will now come under the purview of the social welfare department. "Our 12-year struggle has finally paid off. We welcome the CM's statement. It's a great feeling that transgenders will finally have a separate welfare board under the social welfare department. Karnataka is the second state in India after Tamil Nadu that's bringing a change for transgenders. We only hope it's implemented in full," Akkai Padmashali, Sangama co-ordinator (information division), said.

There is no comprehensive data on the population of transgenders in Karnataka. According to a 2006 survey by the Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society and the Karnataka Health Promotion Trust, there are approximately 2,000-2,500 transgenders in Bangalore, and at least 60% are above 40 years.

Delhi hospitals have refused blood donations from homosexuals ?

Delhi Hospitals have Refused Blood Donations from Homosexuals
89 % of  MSM ,GAY, Hejads Have HIV ,STD , AIDS ,
High-Risk group. Need Proof  ?
Check Any MSM CBO or NGO  Run By  NACO or others ?
Dare to check ?? AHAHAHAHHAH ?? Dare to check ?

Even as the gay debate simmers in India, with homosexuals rejoicing at section 377 of the Indian Penal Code (criminalising homosexuality) being abolished, a report in yesterday's Hindustan Times underlines the sentiment that it is not just the law, but the attitude towards homosexuality that needs to change.

The report headlined: 'Are you gay? Hospitals ask blood donors in Delhi' states that several hospitals in the capital ask blood donors their sexual preference. Some ban homosexuals from giving blood, while others discourage them

.

Ridiculous

Said Vikram Doctor of Gay Bombay, "This policy about banning gays from donating blood is ridiculous.

I think it was adopted from the US, which bans gay men from donating blood and I think it was implemented in the 1970s."

Anand Grover, who was the lead counsel for Naz Foundation (the NGO that filed a petition against section 377), called the policy, "Totally stupid, irregular and illegal.

There are lots of homosexuals with single partners, while heterosexuals may have had multiple partners, so they would be at a higher risk of infection. I would call this a dangerous policy."

Differences

Grover's argument finds resonance with Dr L Ramakri- shnan, country director, Solidarity and Action Against the HIV Infection in India (Saathii) Trust in Chennai.

He said, "In the US, they follow the Food and Drug Administration guidelines, which have a policy that men who have had sex with men since 1977 are not allowed to donate blood because they are at a higher risk of infection. Some hospitals follow this here, but the Indian situation is different.

Here, HIV usually spreads heterosexually, like in Africa, not male to male.

"Secondly, there is a stigma associated with being homosexual, so how many people will admit they have had sex with a same sex partner on a blood donation form?"

Hospitals Say...

Jaslok
Said Colonel (retd) M Masand, CEO, Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, "We follow FDA guidelines here, so homosexuals who volunteer information in the questionnaire that they are gay would be banned from donating blood.

Hinduja

Said Dr Anand Deshpande, "We do have a question in the blood donation form asking; 'Any history of homosexuality?' If they say: yes, then we would discourage them from donating as it is a high-risk group."

Breach Candy

Major General Vijay Krishna, CEO, said, "Gosh, no we do not have any policy banning homosexuals from donating blood. We do not even ask about the sexual preference. It is a very private matter."
